In Case You Missed It of the Day: Speaking of which, Amy Poehler returned to Saturday Night Live last night to reunite with former Weekend Update co-host Seth Meyers for a special birth-control segment of “Really?!?” which delved into all the wacky, anachronistic mishegas the Republicans were up to this week.
On the one hand, I hope Amy returns to Weekend Update more often. On...

it's real.
That moment when you finish a book, look around, and realize that everyone is just carrying on with their lives as though you didn’t just experience emotional trauma at the hands of a paperback.
Though it’s not always trauma.

Dilemma
I keep trying to find some sort of Walking Dead image or gif to post so I can convey my excitement about the premiere to the internet, but I keep stumbling upon horrific zombie images. What does it mean...

awake and sleepy.
I’ve been lucky enough to never really experience side effects from medication. Not that I take a lot on a normal basis, but from what I have taken, it’s usually pretty easy.
Until now.
Wisdom teeth, why? WHY? Penicillin is the worst.
However, in my sickly haze I’ve realized: the pilot episode of Shameless is really good.
To watch more, or to sleep? Hmm.

Resolutions?
Yeah, sure, why not.
write, write, write. build a portfolio.
bake more dangerously.
get good grades, it’s the last semester.
find a job. career. whatever you wanna call it.
buy the entire series of gilmore girls.
stop saying maybe.
and if I think of anything else, I’ll let you know.

I will always love this band. Baking and Motion City. Happy.
Also, I always avoided baking brownies because I never thought it was satisfying. They were too easy, no challenge.
I was wrong.
Baking brownies is so simple and lovely and, indeed, satisfying.
